A Conversation with Tomaz.

"excuse me, Mom, but..."

Whats Dad doing?
Hes climbing on the roof, Tomaz...

"yes, i can see that, but...?"

Why? Wintertime is coming,
and we need to clean the chimney for this years use...

"Yes, but..."

Dont worry, he will put together the brush and scrub it out safely...

"i know mom, but..."

Dont worry,  we checked twice
that the climbing ropes are anchored!

"I KNOW, MOOOM!

BUT

HOW DO I GET UP THERE TOO???"

...
...
...

sigh.

oh tomaz...

  6. Oh you sneaky Feral you...... I never know when you will post but since I do indeed stalk you....what a lovely surprise to open up your blog and see the most magnificent header I ever did see. I almost forgot to read the post I was so excited when I seen it AWESOME.. Then on seeing it was Tomaz beautiful face I then remembered to not just jump to the comments. I love that he talks to you and you listen and I was so mesmerized by those beautiful blue eyes I almost forgot to look up and see the mountain oops I mean roof climber and noticed I did not see any ladder so I thought I would like to remind you that I certainly DO have a few ladders around here if you need one:. I am sure My Hero would not notice even though he will be on our roof soon doing the same thing as Mr. Foresterman. xoxoxoxo B

  10. lol! My husband also puts on his harness and climbing gear to sweep the chimney. Cute Tomaz and an exceptional header photo!

  11. First--the new header is OUTSTANDING! Second: All that yoga has given Tomaz quite a glow and a lot of flexibility. Still, I'm not sure he'd do well on that snow-shedding steel roof. Hope the chimney sweep brings you good luck.

  14. I put in an insulated stainless steel liner and it doesn't get dirty anymore, stays hot and the junk doesn't stick, I still check it but no worries!

  15. He is such a cutie! How could you refuse him Mom?

  18. Howdy FW,
Well, I'm sure glad to finally see a pic of Tomaz, after the fire like to have de-nuded him; HE'S FLUFFY again AND HIS EYES are okay !!! I'm so relieved !!! HEZ A SWEETIE !!!
    LOVE THE HEADER !!!!
How did Mr. Forester-man get up on the slick metal roof??? I'd of worked it off of a TALL ladder, rather than try to keep from sliding OFF !!! I LIKED THE SOUND OF THE 'STAINLESS-STEEL-LINER' !!! Then just use a warsh-cloth, next time !!!
Give Tomaz a hug and the hosses a pat/rub for us and we hope y'all have a HAPPY DAY !!!

  21. OH, Tomaz, I'm so glad to see you so well, thinking about climbing roofs. Our cat, Sindbad, lived on the rooftops in Los Angeles. He decided early on we had way too many dogs to irritate his peace of mind, so up he climbed. He'd come home for dinner, meow, meow, he'd say as he jumped from roof top to roof top. He went over the rainbow bridge a long time ago now, but whenever I hear a cat talk about roof tops with longing, I think about him. Take care, sweet kitty, you.
