I miss you dad.

To all those who have lost their friends, family and loved ones who have served,

long ago, yesterday and today,

my heart is with you.

Two days after he graduated from High School,
he left home to go to war.

  9. omgosh...TWO purple hearts!!! We had the most wonderful little Memorial Day...at the little cemetary where my dad is buried the American Legion has a little service for all the veterens buried there. Almost all the participants are over 80 years old and mostly from WWII...they are just so sweet...my dad has the honor of being the first one buried by the flag pole...a new section they opened for veterens and their families starting on 11-2011. Thank you to your Dad..my Dad and all the veterens that help keep our country free!
