A Montana Wedding unplugged: with flowers laughing in the morning...

~

It all begins with Flowers...

The Bride bought Pink Peonies of varying shades,

with white, pink and fushia dwarf Dianthus,
and
the leafy Ruscus as the perfect filler...

and the gorgeous very talented Maid of Honor
 with lovely assistance
made four bouquets
the morning of the wedding

(Sisters & Daughters are wonderful that way :)

and using the Bride's knife occasionally to cut stems
(yes, its been bedazzled. isnt yours?)

the outcome was breathtakingly beautiful

but when they first brought them out,
 it was then I realized

the Bride's & Sister's Grandmother, my mother,

was letting us know

she was with us

She loved her flowers, her gardens,
and had many many peony bushes;
so strong, so fragrant in June
as you walked by...
it was intoxicating

the fragrance this day reminded me of her

and she was with us

  9. So beautiful, both the flowers and the lovely ladies especially the second last photo. Your mom must have been smiling up in heaven, seeing that little bit of heaven on earth. And yes, it will get that green again, it will just look- different. I'm so glad you have all these photos to remember.
