Update - at 200,000+ and burning
The Ash Creek Fire is not contained - they are evacuating 14 miles north of us - its moving southeast. We got our power & phone back on Friday Night, lost it on Sunday, got it back again and are hosing, filled water barrels, reduced fuel load around the house, and packed some things. Keeping in contact with the closest neighbors - jeep, truck and horse trailer are ready.
200, 000 + acres burned so far and over 70 homes, ranches and outbuildings burned (not a misprint - why isnt this national news?) and its not contained by a far stretch - close to 600 personnel fighting it and FEMA has been called in.
Not good.
