Come take a walk with me, Leontien!

Look! The wild plum trees are blooming!
So thats where that sweet sweet smell of Smarties candies is coming from...

Lets follow Dexterdog, he'll take us down to where they are...
But we can take our time, because he certainly is!

Dont you wish we could be this butterfly ?
 I bet the flowers taste sooo good to them...

Look at all those tiny buds ready to bloom...

be careful not to get too close tho'!

 Ohhhhh, we scared Mr & Mrs. Mallard;
look at them go...

Leontien, LOOK! YUM! the first asparagus tip is popping up!
 Lets remember to pick these for stir-fry tonight!

Ohh, and look! The green grass is coming in, even in the spots where we burned this winter!

Whats up with Dexterdog? Crazy dog!
He must have spring fever lol!

Looks like the new fence held up well over the winter...

Hey there, Mr. Spider!

Boy, is Mr. Redwing Blackbird singing his song ...loudly...Maybe they have a nest nearby?

sigh.
Dexterdog is saying that the sun is starting to set; time to think about walking home...

I guess he's right...

  Goodnight, Plum trees!

 Goodnight Mr. Bluebird!

goodnight Sun....

Hey!

Thank you Leontien, for taking a walk with me.

and everyone else too!

Did you know the best is yet to be?

"Hope is the thing with feathers

That perches in the soul,

And sings the tune--without the words,

And never stops at all,

And sweetest in the gale is heard;

And sore must be the storm

That could abash the little bird

That kept so many warm.

I've heard it in the chillest land,

And on the strangest sea;

Yet, never, in extremity,

It asked a crumb of me."

~ Emily Dickinson,  from her poem titled "Life"
