I went on a truck ride!!!

THIS is the official marker on official WI Historical Markers all over Wisconsin.

I think its a badger.  A hostile one.

Welcome to Wisconsin...

Ok, so asking me if I want to go on a truck ride is the only way Mr. Foresterman can get me to go to an "informational" meeting for work, but as long as he throws in "all you can eat ice cream" and antique shopping along the way,  I'm easy.

Well kind of, because I always call "shotgun" ~  so I can take pictures...

Here we go, fasten your "visual" seatbelts and take a journey to the SW corner of Wisconsin!

First you have to drive out of NW Wisconsin, because you can't see anything through the trees...

Then the terrain starts to change to open rolling fields and forest...

Then you start to notice that time goes a little slower out here ...

And you start to think how nice it would be to have a packed picnic basket along...

But then stopping in a small Wisconsin town for lunch & ice cream is a fine idea too...

  

BTW, the meeting was only 2 hours long, but I got a wonderful trip out of it ~
