Sometimes NOT winning is a blessing in disguise...

For a moment I was a little sad - we received notification that we did not get the winning bid on the Timber Cruising work in the Black Hills of South Dakota...

But that doesnt mean we get the summer off - nope!  

We are contractors to provide Managed Forest Law Plans (MFL) to the Dept of Natural Resources 

year 'round, so we still have an inbox to empty....

Get out of the inbox, TOMEZ!!!!

And then of course there is this matter of a house we want to tidy up and sell... 

And a garden to make pretty so the house will sell....

 which needs to be mulched and weeded and...

dont forget about us, mom!

And interrupt this guy's grassfest to ride once in awhile!

                                                                                                                                        

So, factor in a few graduation parties, weddings, a trip to the house in MT to drop off furniture, 

all in all I think we might have been blessed by the news of no timber cruising this summer...

And I get to see my roses bloom one last time...
