It just wasnt the same...

REALLY.

So why cant I blog like a normal person, hmmm?
Like CONSISTENTLY?

What the hecks a matta with me???

Well...

We recently received a one year contract bid with the USFS!

Im back in the woods again!

but the sad thing is, without Dexterdog

:(

so it just doesnt seem the same

we have been working & camping in our truck ...
 However

- after just one day -

we headed into town

We really needed something to make things right.

Welcome to the team, Ranger!

:)

so to all of you who said that I would someday find another buddy when I was blubbering "oh no, Dexter was my LAAAST dog..."

just stahhhp.

The thundering million

"I told you so 's" thoughts

right now while you are reading this
 are
overwhelming my little catholic girl guilt

"Harpo, who is dis dog?"

But I'll get over it

because
I have help now!

  2. Oh you needed this and Dexter dog would not think anything of it. You needed this to keep you safe in the wilderness where sometimes you get distracted picking awesome turkey feathers (btw I have some more too, now I need some sheds). Ranger is going to keep you safe and Dexterdog is right there with you so don't worry. Everyone is happy especially me, look at the smile on Rangers face.. Back to work, I love it. Be safe and you Ranger thank you for keeping our Feral woman and Mr. Foresterman safe and smiling. xo Hug B

  18. Ranger! What a perfect name for your dog. He is gorgeous and will be such a great companion. Faith has helped me so much get over my sadness over losing Soldier, who, in spite of all his difficulties was one of my all time favorite dogs. He was just so darned tough and Ranger reminds me a little of him, he is tough, I can tell. Sending love to you my friend. The pictures are gorgeous, just gorgeous.

  20. My goodness! You've got a job, and a new dog-partner. So, aside from the stitches on your leg where the lump came out, things sound pretty good. Happy timber cruising, with Ranger. And Mr. Foresterman, of course.

    Blessings and Bear hugs!

  27. I have not left you and your blog but lots of computer problems which I can't deal with have left me fairly absent from cyber communication.I have been getting caught up with you...sometimes knowledge is not the best thing....I had to go find the Dexter post and now I am paying for that with a snotty nose and ugly red face....however only you could make a person bawl their eyes out and laugh at the same time.I am truly sorry for your loss of Dexter and for Mr Foresterman's cat.I will be watching for a new post.
