"Feral ~ from feminine of ferus wild: having escaped from domestication and become wild"...

Wednesday

Because tonight in the bathroom, its all about the queen mother...

I found my dress for our Daughter's wedding...and unfortunately it cost a fortune...but this dress was so much the one...THEE one.

the one that will help me blend in with the tablecloths.

...

AND then I found it on Ebay at 1/3rd the cost.

It was my size, worn once, and I took a risk.

I was so excited when it was delivered that I didnt even bother to take off my jeans...

or workboots...

It was prettier then the original retail picture when I first saw it -

and it had GLASS BEADS!

Shiny glass BEADs!!

And it was made of SILK -

CATERPILLAR GOLD SPIT!!!

THE BEST!!

Even the french lace
had the shiny glass beads...

and it made my next year
"OMgosh I will be a half of a century old" be-hind

look at least 10 years younger!!!

But most importantly, I felt like a queen in it.

a good queen mother...

who will blend in with the tablecloths.

Bride "Arwen" has given approval.

:)

So what do you think?

  5. I do not recommend work boots! ha ha. It is stunning, elegant, classy, a grecian goddess of a dress! Just a wow and trust me, that ass will NOT blend in with any ol' tablecloth... unless it's made of gold!

  25. Gorgeous dress and a great find, you savvy shopper, you. Good for you. You look beautiful in that dress. You and that dress will be dancing on those tableclothes (or is that not appropriate mother-of-the-bride behavior in Montana?) You know what I mean...you'll shine in that dress.

  41. And a note to the foxy lady wearing the dress that will blend in with the table cloths.

You can tell when the preacher is getting a bit older. He thinks the mother of the bride looks better than the bride. But that's just a secret between the two of us. OK? (Oh, and of course, your many readers, but they don't count, do they?)
