"Feral ~ from feminine of ferus wild: having escaped from domestication and become wild"...

Thursday

Feral decorating - Parakeets and horses.

Remember this humble little bathroom of ours?

with the little lavatory off to the side thats as blank and boring as a boiled potato?

A very white potato?

Yep, that one!

Well, we finally got the 'toppings' for it!  The parakeet wallpaper arrived!
By York!

Sigh...isnt it lovely?  I love me some blue parakeets!

And it matches the scroll-y chandelier that makes me be on my best behavior!

But the dressing room off to the side of this bathroom got a little jealous at all the attention...

Yes, I know... I didnt tell you about the dressing room - but thats for another day, another time,
another sordid "tell-all" of how a feral woman like me ends up with a dressing room...
I'll show you how even my clothes arent worthy to hang in there...

 Anyhow...

Heres the Horse Wallpaper,
by Ralph Lauren!

Sigh...isnt it...isnt it just dashing?

Now I know some do not like wallpaper - and some are surprised at the old timey feel -
and some just think we are plain nuts...

however we did get this the other day ~

the thumb ups sign from God saying "color is A-okay, Feral"

Sooooooo

Open up those floodgates - Im rip' roarin' ready to PAPER!!!!

  2. First of all... are you kidding me?

    "Humble little bathroom"??

My friend, your bathroom is the most amazing thing I have ever seen! And I mean it! The details of that floor, the woodwork, the cabinets, the mirrors, the decor, the shower (!!!), the bathtub... oh... I could faint! I could LIVE in it!

Now, the wallpapers are.. what? Well, if I was wearing a hat, I would tip it right now. The wallpapers are gorgeous! Fantastic!

I just beg you to post pictures of the end result, will you please?
    Love ya!

  11. LOVE the wallpaper! I think all women, especially those of us who don't have couture clothing, should have a dressing room.

  12. I see Blogger ate your post and comments as well. I remember not being able to comment on this post when I read it but you did have comments from before the trouble started. Very frustrating stuff....

The wallpaper is beautiful. I haven't hung any in years. Makes me almost want to think about hanging it again but for now, I'm glad it's you and not me. Hanging wallpaper is not one of my strong suits although I love looking at it.

  17. I used to wall paper a lot. But after taking it down in the house I live in now - NO MORE! I'm all about low maintenance. However, I like wallpaper and you picked out some beautiful stuff there Feral Woman! I can't wait for you to show us some pics when after it's up.

  18. I don't have any experience with wall papering, but both your choices look very elegant and. Birds and horses are two of my favorite things. They will look lovely on your walls.

I think if I had a bathroom like that, I would live in there. It's beautiful.

I am feral, so although I dont respond at all like most domesticated bloggers, I will try my best - Thank you for even wanting to leave a comment, as it may draw me out from the woods from whence I came!

Or under a rock, it depends most days...
