"Feral ~ from feminine of ferus wild: having escaped from domestication and become wild"...

Wednesday

You know you are Feral when...

This is your excuse for being 15 minutes late for Sunday morning Church...

We got snow again... And yes, this is an official County Road - in Montana.

I know when i was busting at the seams pregnant with each of our daughters, there was no way in heck you could make me stand in snow....or moove really fast...or give a flyin' honk if you were going somewhere fun if you werent taking me with... and speaking of, take a better look down by the fence; now does that look like fun to you?  I bet she said all night long to her  cowsisters  on the road "aint no way in no how you all gonna get me up to the road because im gonna do my baby business right here and now if i have to moooove anymooooore..." and we all agree ~ nobody thinks this snow stuff is making anyones life easier.

We proceeded with caution, very mindful of their current condition...but I swear there was a look to their eye that made me think twice about taking their picture again - take a gander at that one in the back telling her cowsisters up front  "you all go tell them peoples to go drive in the DITCH"...and those Ladies up in front? You know that look? That major Momma look that makes you say over and over again "yes, ma'am" and "no, ma'am" and "sorry to bother you ma'am"?  I sheepishly lowered my camera as we slowly crept forward, and tried not to make impolite eye contact as they slowly lumbered to the sides, moo muttering to themselves...we just were able to squeeze through - they werent giving up no more inches then they had to...

Goodness its been too long of a winter around here....

BUT WAIT A  minute, ITS SPRING!
Because we saw one of these!

 Darn.

  4. I love your writing style (and would have agreed with the cow too).

While we aren't as rural as you, my kids have been late to school due to "slow moving vehicle (tractor) in the road" and that's an ACCEPTABLE excuse.

  5. The cow picture cracked me up ...a couple of days ago I was out jogging and there were cows in the middle of the trail...honestly,,they were not going to move! I stood there and shouted "Scram cows"! lol...finally I gave up and turned around!

  9. I can't say as I blame those cow mamas not wanting to move too fast or even move at all. They've got to bemoaning their condition at that state. You might be tired of winter but they gotta be sick to death of packing those kids.

Don't ya think their first conversations after those bundles finally spring would just have to be about their war stories of labor. LOL

  11. too funny.

on our way to town we've been stopped by a herd of cattle in the mountains. boo bear called it "cow traffic."

i just sat there and said with my eyes open wide, "didn't we move from the city to get away from traffic jams?" :)

I am feral, so although I dont respond at all like most domesticated bloggers, I will try my best - Thank you for even wanting to leave a comment, as it may draw me out from the woods from whence I came!

Or under a rock, it depends most days...
