"Feral ~ from feminine of ferus wild: having escaped from domestication and become wild"...

Sunday

Just dodged a biiiigg bullet...

This past weekend, it was reported over a 20' inch snowfall in our old town in Wisconsin, and we just closed on that Wisconsin house we were selling this past week! (yippee! yahoo! Hip hip hooray!!!) Mr. Foresterman came on home Friday late afternoon and missed the storm completely. And the family that bought our house? They just arrived from the deep south ~ certainly a "Welcome to Wisconsin" baptism indeed!!!  But hopefully they will like the idea of a white Christmas in their new house on the river. They are very good natured people and have even invited us to their new home ;) which we plan on doing...but after the snow melts!

Bye bye House!

All in all, the closing went fine and we are very grateful to be living in Montana; very grateful indeed!

In the meantime, while waiting for Mr. Foresterman hubby to get things in order  in Wisconsin,  I did something that seemed to be a good idea at the time...well, until it came time to bring it in ~

maybe this is the reason he doesnt go on too many long road trips without me...

humph ! it didnt seem so big  in the woods...

(yes, its up and wait til you see the final result!)

  5. Great timing on the closing. That's cool.

I can only imagine how tall that tree is looking at it's base. In my house it would have to stick out the roof to stand up in the living room. LOL

  6. Congratulations on teh house!! I know that is a load off--it was for us a couple of years ago. I am sure the new owners will love it. As for that tree--you go girl! That is a tree for sure and the bigger the better. Can’t wait to see it all decorated--don’t keep us waiting :)

  9. Whew! Must be a relief to have the old house sold. Wonderful Christmas present.

Can't wait to see your tree up and decorated. Just keep taking a little off the bottom of the tree until the ceiling rises high enough. ;-)

I am feral, so although I dont respond at all like most domesticated bloggers, I will try my best - Thank you for even wanting to leave a comment, as it may draw me out from the woods from whence I came!

Or under a rock, it depends most days...
